TODAY’S TIP – ORGANIZING YOUR PATTERNED PAPER

It’s always good to start the New Year off by getting organized! All month long, I’m leading the Organization Challenge in the Our Happy Scrappin’ Place Facebook group. This week is all about organizing our paper stash.

First, we’re tackling Patterned Paper!

Here are some basic tips to get you started:

1) Decide how you’re going to organize it – by manufacturer, by pattern, by theme, by color scheme, etc.
2) Purge any scrap pieces that aren’t 12X12 and put them in your scrap pile or go so far as to recycle them.
3) Move your oldest paper to the front so you can actually use it!
4) Take at least 15 minutes each day this week to work on your paper stash. Don’t let the task overwhelm you!

Hope these tips help you to get started on organizing your paper stash! Join the Our Happy Scrappin’ Place Facebook group to continue with the Organization Challenge. We’ll be taking on our photos, odds & ends, kits and half done projects in the weeks to come. Join us!
