Tipsy Tuesday – Organizing Odds & Ends

All month long, I’m leading the Organization Challenge in the Our Happy Scrappin’ Place Facebook group. This week is all about organizing our odds and ends – AKA embellishments. This includes buttons, ribbon, die cuts, wood veneers, flair, paper scraps, flowers, stickers, chipboard, washi tape, etc.

Here are some basic tips to get you started:

1) Decide how you’re going to organize each type of embellishment- by manufacturer, by pattern, by theme, by color scheme, etc.
2) Throw out any scrap pieces of paper that can’t be used by your smallest punch.
3) Go through drawers, jars, boxes, etc. and PURGE!
4) Take at least 15 minutes each day this week to work on your embellishments. Don’t let the task overwhelm you!

Hope these tips help you to get started on organizing your embellishments! Join the Our Happy Scrappin’ Place Facebook group to continue with the Organization Challenge. We’ll be taking on our photos, kits and half done projects in the weeks to come. Join us!
